Who we are
NOVA is sold by [your legal name or business name], [country] ("we"). Orders are processed by our reseller, Lemon Squeezy, which is the merchant of record and handles payment, tax and invoicing.
Your license
Buying NOVA gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use it on one Windows PC at a time. You can move the license to another PC you own using the app or the My license page. You may not share, resell, sublicense, or try to bypass the license check, and you may not copy NOVA except for a reasonable backup.
NOVA is licensed, not sold, under a restricted license. You may not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except where the law expressly allows it. These terms apply to NOVA as first downloaded and to every update you install afterwards.
What NOVA does
NOVA changes Windows, driver and device settings on your PC at your request. It backs up the original values so you can undo changes, and can create a Windows restore point. Some options (marked Advanced) change security or hardware settings and show a warning first; you choose whether to use them.
Controller overclocking installs a third-party signed filter driver (hidusbf). Graphics tuning changes settings through your graphics driver. Overclocking and higher power limits can make a system unstable; use the built-in stability test and undo any change that causes problems.
No warranty
NOVA is provided "as is". Results depend on your hardware and configuration, and we don't promise any particular performance gain. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for data loss, hardware issues or other damages arising from using NOVA. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
Third-party games and services
NOVA does not modify game files or run inside games. We are not affiliated with any game publisher, anti-cheat vendor, NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, Sony or Microsoft, and can't control their policies.
Third-party components
NOVA includes or works with components from other companies, each under its own license. The full notices ship with NOVA in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt.
- Intel PresentMon (MIT license) for frame capture, and the Intel Graphics Control Library for Intel graphics settings.
- hidusbf by SweetLow (public domain) for controller and mouse polling.
- AMD ADLX SDK code for Radeon settings. That code is licensed to us by Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. ("AMD"), is subject to a restricted license, and may only be used with AMD hardware. AMD is a third-party beneficiary of these terms. AMD and our other licensors provide their components "as is", without warranty of any kind, and are not liable to you for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from their use; AMD's total liability to you will not exceed US$100.
Export
You agree to comply with all applicable export and import laws and regulations, including those of the United States, and not to export or use NOVA in violation of them.
